Our Programs

We offer a range of engaging inter-disciplinary and innovation fostering programs for children ages 3-14; both in-school through partnerships, and out of school through After-School Programs, Workshops, Field Trips, Birthday Parties, and our highly anticipated Summer and Winter Camps.

Code-A-Bot

Coding is a new way of thinking and is the language of the future! The Robotics program will have your child thinking and tinkering with design and purpose using a variety of different and age-appropriate robots to code by hand and build custom-made creations they can touch, hear and even run around with!

Imagination meets manufacturing in this hands-on class where children learn how to design simple 3D models and prepare them for 3D printing. Make something from scratch, or import a more intricate model to use as a starting point, then watch your creation come to life layer-by-layer and take it home!

Engineering for Kids

Engineering for Kids is a unique and dynamic program designed to inspire the next generation through hands on activities, such as launching rockets, battling robots and even programming video games!

Junior Aerospace Engineering

The Junior Aerospace Engineering classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental conepts of aircraft and spacecraft design. Through open and focused exploration, students explore and construct airplanes, rockets, hot air balloons and more.

Junior Civil Engineering

Building a house to withstand the Big, Bad Wolf is where the fun begins in Junior Civil. This class is centered on exploring the concepts of building and construction through hands-on exploration and design. Students explore the engineering behind skyscrapers, bridges, roads, and more in this fun and engaging experience.

Junior Marine Engineering

What causes something to sink or float? How can engineers help explore and protect the ocean below? These questions and more are all explored in Junior Marine. In this class, students explore the concepts of marine engineering and mechanics, harnessing the power of water, and discovering designs that helps us make the impossible, possible.

Junior Chemical Engineering

The Junior Chemical Engineer classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of solids, liquids and solutions. Students investigate the properties of several crazy concoctions and make their own samples of bubbles, play dough, flub and more.

Junior Robotics Engineering

This class is a perfect mixture of fun and learning, using LEGO® WeDo™ Robots. Using LEGO® bricks, students build an airplane rescue, a giant escape, and a sailboat storm. They also learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer.

The Junior Mechanical Engineer classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of energy, matrials and movement. Through open and focused exploration, students explore and construct their own roller coasters, catapults, cars, and more.

Master Aerospace Engineering

During the Aerospace Engineering classes, our most experienced engineering students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test and refine a variety of flying machines. They construct a rocket designed to land within a target zone, design a parachute with limited materials that will make the slowest descent possible, and create a hot air balloon model that actually takes flight with weight attached

Master Civil Engineering

During the Civil Engineering classes, our most experienced engineering students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a balsawood bridge designed to withstand the greatest force. They examine several different types of bridge designs and discover how the forces of tension, compression, bending, torsion, and shear are distributed throughout their structures. Students at this level are challenged to construct bridges and to design the tallest free-standing tower all while using a limited supply of materials.

Master Marine Engineering

During the Marine Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine several types of marine based devices and vehicles. Students construct working prototypes that teach and reinforce the concepts of above water transportation, underwater exploration, and harnessing the power of water. They gain exposure to careers in naval, ocean, and marine engineering as well as naval architecture.

Master Chemical Engineering

During the Chemical Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine various mixtures and solutions with different chemical properties. They manipulate the speed of chemical reactions, synthesize their own rocket fuel, and investigate the secrets of polymers.

Master Robotics Engineering

During the Robotics 101 program, students will learn the basics of designing, programming, and controlling a fully functional robot. Using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®, mathematical concepts, and engineering principles students will brainstorm, plan, test, and modify sequences of instructions to accomplish a given task. Students will also learn the sequence of communication between the robot, and the programmer by collecting and analyzing data using the robot's sensors.

Master Mechanical Engineering

During the Mechanical Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems. Students learn basics of fluid mechanics, simple machines, and other design and engineering concepts while constructing roller coasters, egg-drop vehicles, and an incredibly fast air powered dragster they keep at the end of the course.
